Day 2Canyon Roadhouse to Klein AusDesert plains, mountain scenery and gravel roads
Head west through open desert plains and mountain scenery toward Klein Aus. The long gravel-road sections introduce the scale and rhythm of the journey.

Day 3Klein Aus to SesriemGarub wild-horse country and the Namib Desert
Travel through the Garub area, known for its wild horses, before continuing into the Namib toward Sesriem and the gateway to Sossusvlei.

Cross the Namib on scenic gravel roads through Kuiseb Canyon, the Tropic of Capricorn and Moon Landscape before reaching Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast.
