This seven-day coach tour is designed for travellers who want to experience the West Coast and Namaqualand without driving the route themselves. Travel from Cape Town through Lamberts Bay, Lutzville, Hondeklipbaai, Port Nolloth, Nigramoep and Okiep, with your guide managing the route and daily flow.

Meet at Cape Town's V&A Waterfront for introductions and a tour briefing before travelling north. Enjoy a West Coast seafood lunch at Muishbosskerm, then settle into Grootvlei Guest House for the first evening.

Day 2Bird Island, Doringbaai and LutzvilleJoetsie Lodge

Visit Bird Island before following the coast through Doringbaai and Strandfontein. Lunch is planned at Lutzville Vineyards, followed by check-in and a relaxed braai evening at Joetsie Lodge.

Day 3Lutzville to HondeklipbaaiHonnepondokkies

Continue north through the Groenrivier area to Hondeklipbaai. The day combines wide coastal scenery with time in a small seaside settlement, followed by dinner at the Rooi Spinnekop.

Day 4Hondeklipbaai to NigramoepNigramoep Slow Living Guest Farm

Travel via Kleinzee and Port Nolloth, with lunch in Port Nolloth before heading inland to Nigramoep. Check in for a two-night stay and enjoy dinner at the guest farm.

Day 5Nigramoep and Schaaprivier CanyonNigramoep Slow Living Guest Farm

Spend the day exploring the farm surroundings, valleys, viewpoints and Schaaprivier Canyon. A picnic lunch and second night at Nigramoep create a slower, more settled day in the journey.

Day 6Nababeep and OkiepOkiep Country Hotel

Discover Namaqualand's copper-mining heritage in Nababeep and Okiep, including the Cornish Beam Pump and historic smokestack. The final overnight is at Okiep Country Hotel with a buffet dinner.

Day 7Okiep to Cape TownTour concludes

Return south along the N7 with a lunch stop at Kardoesie. The journey concludes at Cape Town's V&A Waterfront in the late afternoon.
