Okiep Country Hotel Departure

Join us on a exciting one-day floral tour through Namaqualand, a region renowned for its spectacular wildflower displays. Depending on the peak blooming locations at the time of our tour, we will begin our journey from Oikep Country Hotel at 9am, making our way towards the Gougab Nature Reserve. Here, we will spend several hours enjoying ourselves in the reserve’s extraordinary floral and fauna, witnessing the vibrant tapestry of colors that the season has to offer.

Following our visit to Goegab, we will proceed towards Kammieskroon via scenic back roads, passing through charming settlements such as Rooifontein and Nourivier. After exploring Kammieskroon, our route will take us to the Skilpad National Park, where we can enjoy the diverse and unique plant species native to the region. We will then continue towards Soebatsfontein, taking in the stunning landscapes along the way, and finally, we will make our return to Springbok via Kommagas and the picturesque Spektakel Pass.

This tour includes a packed lunch with a soft drink and a bottle of water. Please note that the itinerary may change depending on the flower bloom, weather conditions, and the progression of the flower season, which typically occurs from August to September.

Join us for an unforgettable experience as we explore the vibrant beauty of Namaqualand’s floral landscape.
