2.1 Participation Requirements
Participants must be in good physical and mental health, and any medical conditions or disabilities must be disclosed at the time of booking.
All drivers on self-drive tours must have a valid driver's license and be confident in off-road and 4x4 driving conditions.
2.2 Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all tour participants. Insurance should include cover for cancellations, lost property, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal liability.
Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure.
2.3 Liability
Why Not Africa Tours, its employees, and affiliates accept no responsibility for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the tour due to natural disasters, weather, road conditions, theft, or third-party services.
Participation in off-road driving, camping, and all other tour activities is entirely at your own risk.
2.4 Equipment & Vehicle Use
Clients participating with their own vehicles are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and fully equipped for off-road conditions.
Equipment supplied by Why Not Africa Tours must be returned in the condition provided. Damage or loss due to negligence will be charged accordingly.
2.5 Environmental Responsibility
We operate in remote and ecologically sensitive areas. All participants are expected to respect local customs, wildlife, and the environment.
Littering, off-track driving in protected areas, or damaging flora and fauna is strictly prohibited.
2.6 Minors
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Some tours may not be suitable for young children; please inquire when booking.
2.7 Force Majeure
Why Not Africa Tours shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or tour cancellations caused by acts of God, government restrictions, war, terrorism, pandemic, civil unrest, or other events beyond our control.
